Educational Qualifications

• The candidate should be passed BE in Electronics and Communication, Avionics, or Computer Science Preferred.

Job Description – Pratt & Whitney Job Openings

• Play a critical role in safety critical aerospace verification to DO-178B/C standards
• Manage software artifacts change using configuration and change management tools
• Development of high level and low-level software verification artifacts including structural coverage analysis and gap closure
• Create problem reports for all failed test cases and issues identified with the product
• Support a conduct root cause analysis and corrective and preventative actions for escapes or impactful turnbacks
• Participate in SOI activities with P&WA and P&WC
• Support program management, team, and customer status reviews when required
• Participate in process and tool improvement initiatives

Experience & Skills Required –  Pratt & Whitney Software Engineer I Jobs 2023

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in safety critical control system and software development / verification.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure and flexible engineering environment
• Prior experience developing software in an Agile or waterfall framework
• Prior safety critical softwareverification experience
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO-178BC
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink or SCADE toolsets for software design autocoding
• Excellent cross discipline communication skills
• Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system, and control logic design and test is a plus
